sparkWILD Institute is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that develops WILD Intelligence — the human capacity to navigate uncertainty — in young people, families, and educational communities.
sparkWILD Institute grew from a simple observation: the same capacities that Chris and Andrea Greene spent twenty years developing in themselves — through building businesses, leaving conventional paths, and designing a life in the mountains of Colorado — were exactly what their son Sawyer needed to navigate a world being reshaped by AI.
The WILD Intelligence framework was already built. The question was: how does it translate for young people, families, and educators? What does Wisdom look like in a thirteen-year-old? How does Intention develop when you're still figuring out who you are? What does Leadership mean when you've never had power?
Sawyer became the prototype learner. His homeschool program became the testing ground. What worked for him became the basis for what we're building for everyone.
On the fast track to HR leadership at The Home Depot — one of the largest organizations in the country — before she was 30. Guided acquisitions and organizational transformations across multiple states. Then chose to build something of her own. Co-built Colorado's top-rated boutique inn from scratch and ran the operational infrastructure for two businesses. Andrea brings organizational psychology, executive leadership, and the ability to translate vision into systems that serve real people.

IBM Enterprise Design Thinking and AI Practitioner certifications. Fifteen years of university teaching, curriculum design, and educational program development. Creator of the WILD Intelligence framework and author of Wild Intelligence. Currently adjunct teaching at Fort Lewis College.

sparkWILD Institute is the educational mission of The WILD Navigation Company. The Institute focuses on youth, families, and educators. The Company focuses on individual and organizational advisory. They share a framework, a philosophy, and founders — but serve different audiences with different needs. The nonprofit structure opens grant funding pathways and institutional partnerships that the commercial entity alone cannot access.
